More AboutPARTNERS Family Services

Rapid Access Counselling - PARTNERS Family Services  holds rapid access counselling clinics in partnership with Saskatchewan Health Authority. Children, youth, adults or couples may access counselling. Simply present or call our clinic locations, and you will be able to see a qualified counsellor the same day. These sessions are a full counselling session, where you will have the opportunity to identify your primary concern, and what you hope to get out of the session. You will leave with something tangible to help you address your issues. Additionally, you may receive referrals to community or health if needed, or be referred to an ongoing counsellor within our agency.

Adult Counselling - Counselling services are available for adults experiencing a variety of challenges in their lives. Individuals do not require a referral or a diagnosis to seek services. Counsellors work on a strengths based model and work with clients to improve their mental, emotional and physical well being.  Presenting issues may include: Family disharmony, Relationship issues, Bereavement/grief, Emotional distress (anxiety, depression, anger, etc), Mood disorders, Behavioural concerns/disorders.

Child and Youth Counselling -  The Child and Youth Counselling program aims to support programs that help youth and families access the right care at the right time offering services in the homes and the communities of the client it serves.  The counselling program is aimed at people under 24 years of age. The goal is to provide immediate interventions for youth who require it; offer additional supports to the families we are currently serving; and help families navigate and access additional services they may need.

Domestic Violence Services- The Domestic Violence program focuses on supports for individuals who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing interpersonal violence in their lives. This may include domestic violence between partners or family violence that is impacting the entire family unit. The situation may include physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse or financial abuse. Clients will work with a dedicated crisis worker to work towards increasing their physical and emotional safety. Services are available in office or in the individuals home or community. Assistance to leave domestic violence is always available 24/7 and includes transportation to safe shelter.

Crisis Support and Response - Crisis intervention is immediate and short term care for individuals, families, workplaces or communities that are experiencing distress due to an event that has happened.  We offer 24/7 services to assist those who are experiencing crisis and need immediate support in order to remain safe.
